JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Jags fans seem to be all in this season. "Ticket sales have been very good, have been very strong. A lot of renewals, a lot of people that really saw the excitement and the change and wanted to get on board," says Senior Vice President Dan Edwards.

In fact, executives like Dan Edwards say this season they're approaching things a little differently. "Our focus really has changed. Our focus is on the games, it's on the team, it's on what's going on on the field. The focus is on what's going on in the stadium on game day. And the fan experience," he says.

Edwards says instead of counting how many tickets need to be sold to avoid a blackout, they're focusing more on the positive sales and avoiding the word blackout all together. "We are not going into ticket counts and announcing ticket numbers and what's left," Edwards says.
Instead, the Jags are just merely focusing on the actual game and the fan experience. Action News asks, "Are there going to be any black out games this season?" Edwards says, "We'll approach it like the coaches do. It's one game at a time."

Edwards tells me he is confident that they're going to be able to sell enough tickets to have the games on television.
