ATLANTA --The Jacksonville Jaguars are here to play the Falcons on the NFL Network Thursday night. The team was in the air when the announcement was made that Shad Khan was officially approved by the NFL Owners in Dallas.
"He's committed to Jacksonville", was the common quote as news made it's way around the plane. We spoke with Uche Nwaneri, an offensive lineman who played at Purdue, the biggest rival of the new owners alma mater, Illinois, he says the team is thankful for everything Mr. Weaver has done for the franchise and he is excited about what Mr. Khan might do as the new owner. Uche went on to say that the players are focused on playing the Falcons and trying to help Maurice Jones-Drew win the rushing title.
