JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- If you could help the community, if you could save a life, simply by sitting down for an hour, would you?
Well here's your chance. Join the Jacksonville Jaguars, Action News Jacksonville and the Blood Alliance for the 18th Annual "Gift of Life" Blood Drive.
It's Tuesday, December 11, from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the West Touchdown Club at EverBank Field.
Donors will be joined by the ROAR cheerleaders, Jaxson DeVille, and some of the Jaguars football players.
The "Gift of Life" Blood Drive also includes free food, live bands, massages, entertainment for kids and and gift bags for donors.
The event will include drawings for Jaguars prizes and everyone who donates will be entered to win a 2013 Buick Verano, compliments of Nimnicht Buick/GMC.

Last year the "Gift of Life" Blood Drive had over 1000 donors and is considered the State of Florida's most productive blood drive.
The Blood Alliance needs about 360 people a day to donate blood in order to meet the needs of area hospitals.
