Body found in woods identified as missing man
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The body found in the woods Sunday near Beaver Street and Jackson Avenue has been identified as a missing 63-year-old man.
On Sunday evening the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office homicide unit was called to North Jackson Avenue and Beaver Street on the Westside after a body was found in the woods by someone walking in the area.
Police have identified the body as Lawrence Yarbourough, 63, a man who was reported missing by family members on August 6th.
No foul play is suspected at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
