ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. -- The St. Johns County Sheriff's Office has sounded the all clear after finding a suspicious cooler in the waiting room of an E.R. at Flagler Hospital.

Deputies used a bomb robot to X-ray and remove the cooler, which was discovered around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. Deputies cleared the hospital of any danger, but they do have questions about the contents of the cooler.

Bomb technicians found wire, duct tape and other items inside the cooler. They are continuing their investigation tonight, but say the hospital is not in danger.

How come we can't know what the other items are. Then again, they may be irrelevant as there was no actual explosive assembly of any kind (perhaps just what some people thought would be a joke).

have they no cameras in the common areas of the hospital ??? I've always thought it was a soft target, what with no real armed guards or deputies present & an open door policy... its simply a matter of time before one gets hit (hospitals)..
