Most 12 year olds I know would say anything if they thought it would keep them out of trouble.

A 12 year old with a "high powered" rifle shooting at "tree limbs" ?! First of all I don't believe he wasn't shooting at the power lines, second why does he have access to a "high powered" rifle without an adult present,& last why does he not understand that bullets eventually come down? He needs to be disciplined/educated & the adults responsible for his access to the rifle also. Now is the time to correct this.
