Boy's death ruled accidental drowning

ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. -- An accidental drowning caused the death of a 2-year-old special needs boy who disappeared from his home. Preliminary results of an autopsy report by the medical examiner were released today.

Jet Gonzales disappeared from his home near Linda Lake Lane Wednesday morning. He was found in a nearby retention pond and died at the hospital.

Gonzales had Down syndrome. He was found less than two hours after he was reported missing.
