JACKSONVILLE, Fla -- The weekend will be pretty nice with partly sunny skies and gusty east to northeast winds. The onshore winds will cause an elevated rip current risk at area beaches where afternoon temperatures will be cooler but still in the mid 70s. Inland highs will be in the upper 70s to low 80s. Most of the weekend will be dry with only an isolated coastal shower Saturday and widely scattered inland afternoon showers and thunderstorms Sunday. Rain and storms will increase for much of next week.
