Brentwood home damaged after early morning house fire

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- According to the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department, a home in Brentwood is damaged after it caught fire Monday morning.

Fire officials said a space heater may have started the fire around 7:30 a.m. The home is located at the 600 block of East 28th Street.

According to JFRD, the Red Cross is helping two adults and three children with living arrangements. No one was injured, fire officials said.

According to JFRD, damages are estimated around $15,000. The fire was put out in about 10 minutes.
