Brick attack equals 30 years in prison
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A man who beat another man with a brick is going to prison.
A jury convicted Ronald Lagair of Aggravated Battery with a Deadly Weapon. He beat Willie Holmes with a brick in 2009. Lagair, a prison release re-offender, served time for a burglary conviction in 1991.
Lagair faces 30 years in prison with a 15-year minimum mandatory sentence. He will be sentenced in October.
