JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Campus life is a bit cooler for students at the University of North Florida, and it's not because of the arctic blast in the forecast.

A university spokeswoman said an underground hot-water line broke, affecting the heat in several buildings.

Building 16, Osprey Commons and the Andrew A. Robinson Jr. Building 14B, 14D and 14E do not have temperature control.

Sharon Ashton with UNF told Action News that campus crews are working with the contractor to fix the problem, but there's no timetable on when crews will complete the repair work.

Students returned to classes Monday after the winter break.
