speed traps,, every radar cops dream... where in 1 day they can fill thier quota of summones, & satisfy thier boss they are doing thier job... then kick back for the other 29 days...we have several here in st. john's... the biggest is west pope road over on the beach.. turn onto w. pope & its 25 mph, while a vacant lot sits on 1 side & a large apartment complex sits set back on the other,,, meanwhile on the next street south,, the limit is 30 mph & the block is littered with houses & kids ??? and its not even the beach cops who are writing the tickets,, its the county motorcycle cops !!! like vultures on a sunny day,, you can count on 2-3 of them working west pope to death
