Bullet hits Westside daycare
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is investigating after a gunshot was fired at a daycare on the Westside.
Police responded to the scene at the 5800 block of Seaboard Avenue on the Westside. Officers on scene say that a man was in his backyard when he discharged his gun. The bullet hit the side of a nearby daycare.
No one was injured in the incident. The Department of Children and Families does not believe there was anyone inside the daycare at the time.
Police are interviewing the man who fired the shot.
