Businesses boom during Mumford and Sons concert

ST AUGUSTINE, Fla.-- The city of St. Augustine is revved up and in full swing for its 450th commemoration. This past weekend's Mumford and Sons concert was a big deal for some local businesses, while others were barely impacted.

oh... Billy Bob Hill... it was a Concert not Family fun day at the park (was not meant for kids, and any good parent shoudl know that... I dont show up for my kids flag football game and complain that there is no alcohol or loud music.. everything is not meant for everyone). Are you sure you dont live in St Nickolas (met park reference, becuase that is where this concert should have been).

This concert did nothing but keep everybody out and I know the band sucked a big turd ! They look like they where up drinking an hung over . This hurt most of the Business all around St.Aug It was not family fun ! Lots of cussing and trash all over !

Actually, I heard that a LOT of people stayed away from SA for the weekend because they did NOT want to put up with the road closures, thee lack of parking, and the congestion. Also, many businesses bought extra food but did NOT have a busy weekend. Finally who the hell holds an outdoor concert in a self-identified "field", and then bans blankets & lawn chairs!?
