Car fire caught on camera
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Cameras caught a car engulfed in flames Saturday night on the I-295 East loop near Monument Road.
Freelance photographer Marcus A. Taylor was on his way home from a family reunion when he says he saw the fire alongside the roadway. Taylor stopped to capture the video on camera.
The video shows flames coming out of the hood of the car and smoke plumes going into the air.
The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department says units arrived on scene about 8:15 p.m. Saturday. Firefighters were able to put out the fire and clear the scene by 9:45 p.m. No one was hurt in the fire.
Crews are trying to figure out how the car fire started.
Taylor has posted more of his video on his
YouTube Channel.
