Changes coming to dangerous curve on A1A

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla.-- Michael Osgood is still haunted by the tragic death of his step-daughter Jennifer Leonardi and her newlywed husband, Trevor. The couple lost control and crashed into a tree on Christmas night, along this so-called deadly curve on Anastasia Blvd.

osggod should know his son in law lived in the area & had a family nursery just up the road not 600 yards,, so he was well aware of the slight curve & the trees.. i believe alcohol played a major factor in this accident.. these were no teenagers,, they knew the risks associated with drinking & driving and chose to take them & paid the ultimate price for thier decision !!!having lived here 13 years & traveled here for 37,, i never had a problem with the curve... and if city police enforced the speed limit with radar the incident rate would go down like a lead balloon... they need to enforce the limit around the clock & it will lead to increased arrests for impaired driving as well, as anastasia blvd. is 1 of three exits from the alcohol soaked beach !!! and it is the favorite for folks who live in that direction...
