City Council approves incentives programs for local business
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville City Council unanimously approved a bill Tuesday to give incentives for another company to bring more jobs to Jacksonville.
The mayor's office recommended Body Central receive $244,000 to expand. To keep the package, the company must retain 145 existing jobs and create 52 more by 2017.
Body Central sells ladies apparel and accessories. It has 11 location in Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia.
