City OKs $3.5M settlement with paralyzed teen
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- City council members have just approved a settlement with the family of a local teen who was paralyzed by a dangerous tree.
Aubrey Stewart was injured when part of that tree came crashing down on him in June 2011.
His parents say they asked the city multiple times to come out and cut the tree down and decided to sue after his injury.
City council members approved a $3.5 million settlement with the family.
