City wants to spend $1.4M to fix leaking library

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The leaks at the new library have been known for two years. City Council leaders are wondering why is the proposal to make repairs coming up now.

no you're not supposed to have a leaking roof after 7-8 years !!! who did the building inspections as each step was completed ??? who signed off on the roof ??? that's the person the city should be investigating !!! seems someone may have taken an envelope or 2 for looking away as substandard materials and applications were used to place this roof !!! and the contractor should either step up or be forever barred from future bidding,, but of course it's probably the same one who put the roof on the new courthouse !!! 1.4 million to replace a leaky roof ??? must be one hell of a big roof ???
