YULEE, Fla. -- A fleet of historic motorcycles are making a comeback in Nassau County.

The Sheriff's Office is putting four Harley Davidson motorcycles back into service in the motorcycle division.

The bikes have been sitting idle in a storage shed, collecting dust.

The bikes will be utilized part-time on patrol, and at special events and parades.

Deputies trained for two weeks at the North Florida Law Enforcement Training Center in Jacksonville with the Florida Highway Patrol before being allowed to work on the motorcycles.

Deputy Robin Patterson trained on the old motorcycles to become the first female motor officer for the Nassau County Sheriff's Office.
