JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Classmates and teachers at Wolfson High School honored Jordan Davis Wednesday, the local teenager killed in a shooting over loud music at a Southside gas station.
Students in the music appreciation class, Jordan's favorite class, turned up the music as a tribute to the 17-year-old. Ron Davis, Jordan's father, spoke to students.
The tribute is to mark the anniversary of Jordan's death last November. Jordan left school for Thanksgiving break one year ago, and never returned.

On Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving, police say Jordan and his friends pulled up to a Gate gas station at Baymeadows Road and Southside Blvd.
An argument with another car erupted, followed by gunfire.
Police arrested and charged Michael Dunn with shooting Jordan to death. Dunn claimed the teens flashed a shotgun
at him, but police did not find any weapons in the car Jordan was in.
Dunn will go on trial in February. He's due in court on Thursday for a hearing.
