Clay County Schools name teachers and employees of the year

CLAY COUNTY, Fla. -- School district announced teacher and employees of the year during ceremony at Thrasher-Horne Center.

Susan Dobelstein was named Clay County Teacher of the Year. Dobelstein teaches kindergarten at Montclair Elementary. She has been teaching for 27 years, 25 of those at Montclair. For the past five years, she has also served as the kindergarten grade chairwoman at MCE,  for the school's kindergarten program.

Clay County Employee of the Year: DeeAnn DuPont who is a classroom assistant at Clay Hill Elementary. She has been an employee of the district for the past 4 years, all at Clay Hill.

Those who work with her say she "always conducts herself with professionalism and loving care for the students."
