Clay County approves electronic billboards
CLAY COUNTY, Fla. -- More digital billboards are on the way in Clay County. Tuesday, the commission approved the move.
The new ordinance allows bright electronic billboards like the ones along roadways in Jacksonville. Back in 1998, Clay County became one of the first areas in the country to ban new billboards. Under the ordinance, some of the existing signs will have to be removed.
