Clay County calls drug-takeback event a success
CLAY COUNTY, Fla. -- The Clay County Sheriff's Office is calling its event to collect expired and unused medication a complete success.
CCSO says 200 pounds of drugs were turned in. All those pills will be properly disposed of by the evidence unit.
Turning in drugs prevents child accidents, illegal sales, and water contamination.
The sheriff's office will hold another drug-takeback later this year.
