If buddy and jonathan were such good friends why isn't there a picture of the two of them? The picture she showed is from when buddy was 18 years old wonder why she didn't show any recent ones?

I know Jonathan Williams personally and I know this story has its facts all messed up. They need to read the stand your ground hearing that took place last year and the 55 pg report judge skinner wrote on why he found Jonathan innocent. Then come back and report the real story. Jonathan will win the new stand your ground hearing too. He didn't shoot the girl he shot buddy Pickett the bullet fragment hit her in the leg and she didn't know she had been hit till she got home and saw blood on her leg. Jonathan was justified in what he did if you investigated this you wouldn't have made a false report. This makes your news look unreliable.

This is definitly a stand your ground case, I feel he sent his kids because he felt SAFE him beings friends and all. He should not have went back when the kids came home empty handed. But he probably went back over half cocked and threatened him for his meesley 35 bucks...A LOT of people die everyday by the hands of their 'friends and family' And anyone can 'snap' and go off on their friends and family' in such a violent way one fears for their very life.

well ms. pickett, obviously your idjit son was more concerned about 2 cases of beer,, than his own life,, so no sympathy here.. it should have been apparent that williams had no intention of repaying the $35.00,, & your son should have gotten on with his business !!! $35.00 isn't worth a life,, yet your son obviously sought confrontation over it & paid the ultimate price... he went to the mans house & demanded his cash... sounds threatening to me ...he sent his kids first & then he went himself... what kind of man sends his children to collect his debt ???

(Sorry about the previous premature posting) I know I keep repeating myself, but I am going to keep saying it until people understand. There is nothing wrong with the stand your ground law. The problem is with the lack of enforcement of the law by our courts and law enforcement entities. If Pickett was shot and was not being agressive toward Williams
