Clay County teacher arrested after cocaine found in purse

CLAY COUNTY, Fla. -- An elementary school teacher was arrested after cocaine was found in her purse at school.

Ashlea Eucker, 23, is a fifth-grade teacher at Plantation Oaks Elementary School in Oakleaf Plantation. According to the Clay County Sheriff's Office, she was arrested this afternoon after staff found cocaine in her purse.

Eucker is charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Eucker, who has been with the school system for about one year, was in a meeting with school administrators when the cocaine was found.
