Clay county gears up for Isaac
MIDDLEBURG, Fla. -- Clay County wants to make sure it's ready if flooding happens again.
Clay County Fire Chief and Emergency Manager Lorin Mock says, "This is truly Debby almost part two."
Mock says his biggest concern is that huge rains will be adding to the already soaked soil. "The feat would be certainly increased levels of rainfall again over ground that has been saturated almost constantly since May," he says.
He says in preparation for the storm, people should be ready to leave their homes at any time. He says, "I think it's a possibility that we could have evacuations along known areas where flooding occurs in the county."
