JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Club Mirage, located in the 4900 block of North Main Street, is a hotspot, according to people who live in the Brentwood neighborhood.
"When I go to work in the morning, I see people coming out of there," said Patricia Sharrow.
Around 3:30 a.m. Thursday, it became the scene of a triple shooting.
Three men were injured when, according the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, a gunman walked in and began spraying bullets inside the crowded club.
"This particular business is open at odd hours, at 3 o'clock in the morning, 4 o'clock in the morning," said Sgt. Bobby Lyle of JSO.
According to a local statute, "adult entertainment facilities, adult bookstores and adult movie theaters shall not be open between the hours of 2 a.m. and noon."
Action News went to Club Mirage to talk to the owner, but no one answered the door.
According to city ordinance code section 154.301, establishments that sell alcohol may stay open past 2 as long as they're not serving alcoholic beverages.
It is still unclear if the Mirage violated this particular statute.
Investigators are looking through surveillance video at the club hoping to catch the suspect in this shooting.
