ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. -- Coast guard rescuers assisted a vessel that was taking on water about 20 miles off the coast of St. Augustine Saturday morning.

The coast guard says they got the alert about the distressed vessel around 10 a.m. and were able to dispatch a response boat a short time later.

Crews successfully rescued all three people on board.

All of the anglers are said to have been wearing life jackets.

Rescuers used a pump to control flooding before towing the vessel into shore to the Vilano Boat Ramp in St. Augustine.
