Coast guard rescuing man trapped in boat 40 miles off the coast

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. -- The Coast Guard is en route to rescue a boater who hurt himself after hitting a big swell in the Atlantic Ocean.

You are an idiot imtellin, I know this man what the news is not telling you is that all this happened at 10 am, he called his son for help who called the coast guard and was told that it was not an emergency to basically figure it out. he called back at 3pm because of a heart condition when they decided to react and go get him. He broke both legs and has finished surgery on one of them and is fixing to have a second. next time you have a thought let it go..

i think he had a death wish & chickened out at the last minute & taxpayers have to pay for his suicide attempt that failed !!!

send his stupid ask the bill for his rescue !!! what kind of idiot goes 40 hello,, 40 miles offshore in a 20 foot boat ??? he should have broken his head & saved everyone the trouble and cost of rescuing his dumb ask !!! i would have issues venturing out of the inlet along the coast in a 20 foot boat,, as i've done it before & saw the light !!! unless conditions are just right,, it is a serious undertaking & i learned great respect for our inlet.. shifting & savage willing to take all the unwary to davey jones locker !!! but 40 miles offshore in a 20 foot boat by himself,, this fellow should be baker acted ....
