JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A cold front will bring colder temperatures tonight...

This evening a cold front is approaching SE Georgia and NE Florida. This front brought a line of heavy rain through Duval County between 12 pm and 1 pm. A secondary line of rain pushed through the area during the evening commute. The cold front itself moved in this evening with the secondary round of lighter showers.

Temperatures will fall into the 40s tonight with lower 60s expected Thursday afternoon. Temperatures will be cool through Friday with a warm up for the weekend. The active weather pattern will continue will rain expected on and off through early Sunday.
