JACKSONVILLE, Fla -- The coldest air is moving out and temperatures will now stay well above freezing tonight all the way through the weekend. With winds blowing in off the Atlantic, there will be quite a bit of cloud cover along with a few showers. Rain will have a tendency to favor coastal areas inland to near I-95 but will be hit and miss. After lows tonight in the 40s, temperatures will reach the 50s at the coast, the 60s inland Thursday then jump into the 70s Friday.
A fairly strong storm system will affect the area over the weekend with widespread rain by later Saturday.
