I know Wayne, he's an old friend. I can't imagine what went through his mind, and though it was stupid (and illegal) to flee, I'm sure he was scared out of his mind. He had ambitions and goals he was about to reach, but of course because of inattention that has changed. Who of us has never diverted our attention from the road for a text message, a drink, food, something we noticed off to the side... this could have been any one of us. My prayers go out to those who knew the victim, as I know this must be very hard for them. My prayers are also for Wayne. -JP
