this man isnt mental!?! this is just waisting our tax dollars. he and many more in our jails should be executed. the governement wants budget cuts, there you go!

This is what is wrong with our justice system; the courts worry more about the criminal’s rights than they do for the victims. This pile of human waste killed eight people that we know of maybe more and in the most violent kind of way, so why is there any question about his execution. I don't care if he has mental issues or not, he deserves to die and he should have been executed years ago. I am sick and tired of my tax dollars being used to keep animals like this behind bars. In fact in my opinion anyone who has committed 3 or more violent crimes should be executed without question.

OK something is not right here. Did they uphold the stay of execution or did they deny the stay? "Court blocks execution of 1970s Florida killer" "Court has denied an emergency request for a stay in the scheduled execution of a Florida mass killer" "The justices rejected the request Tuesday from 64-year-old John Errol Ferguson" "The execution was scheduled for Tuesday evening."

So what is it? The story title says it is blocked but the first paragraphs says teh US Supreme courts denied the stay. Which is it? Why would the State of Florida petition to have it over turned if the decision to deny the appeal was made and the execution can move forward. The story doesn't make much sense. If the US Supreme court denies the petition for a stay of execution, then the execurtion is not blocked and can happen, right?

There are a lot of people living with schizophrenia that have not, or ever will commit the heinous crime that this man has!
