JACKSONVILLE, Fla -- A wind shift to the northeast will bring cooler temperatures to Jacksonville, Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia for the start of the weekend. Temperatures will be in the 40s early in the morning and top out in the 60s in the afternoon. Breezy onshore winds will keep temperatures only in the low to mid 60s where there will be an elevated rip current risk. Winds will gradually become east/southeast Sunday starting a warming trend with afternoon highs in the low to mid 70s inland, still in the 60s at the beaches. Other than an isolated shower near the coast, no rain of consequence for the weekend.
