ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. -- A couple, possibly tied to as many as two dozen burglaries in three counties, was arrested Monday after a police chase that started in Palm Coast and ended in St. Johns County.

Flagler County Sheriff's Office, the Florida Highway Patrol and the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office stopped robbery suspects who fled from deputies in Palm Coast on Monday afternoon.

According to authorities, a police chase started near Palm Coast Parkway after two suspects burglarized a home. The Flagler County Sheriff's Office dropped two sets of stop sticks that blew out the driver's side tires of the suspect vehicle.

The suspects drove 15 miles north into St. Johns County with blown tires before police were able to stop them.

William Fulkerson and Carmen Kilgore were taken into custody after the chase by the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office.

Flagler County detectives believe Fulkerson and Kilgore could be responsible for as many as 24 burglaries between three counties. They are also suspects in an October 5th burglary of a home in Palm Coast.

Fulkerson, 36, was charged with Felony Fleeing, Eluding Police and Criminal Mischief. Kilgore, 28, is still being questioned by detectives. Both are facing additional charges in Flagler, St. Johns and Volusia counties.
