Crash involving fuel spill closes I-95 for hours
ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. -- Crews with the St. Johns County Fire and Rescue department spent hours cleaning up a fuel spill after a serious crash near State Road 206.
The southbound lanes of I-95 are shut down for around 12 hours due to the crash involving a gold van and a truck.
Officials with the Florida Highway Patrol tell Action News approximately 40 gallons of fuel spilled.
Traffic homicide is investigating the accident. One patient was flown by ambulance to UF and Shands Jacksonville with life threatening injuries.
