Two taken to hospital after serious accident on I-295 East Beltway
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Rescuers had to use the Jaws of Life to cut one person out of a car after the crash on the I-295 East Beltway between Beach Boulevard and Atlantic Boulevard.
The accident involved a van and a pickup. The van rolled over in the crash, trapping the driver inside. That person was cut out of the vehicle.
In all, two people were transported to the hospital for treatment. There is no word yet on their conditions.
