Credit card fraud rampant in Putnam County
PUTNAM COUNTY, Fla. -- Putnam County detectives are investigating suspicious activity that occurred at gas stations throughout the county this past week.
Deputies received numerous reports of individuals loitering at gas stations and offering customers to fill gas tanks in exchange for cash. Once individuals agree to the deal suspects swipe fraudulent credit cards, fill up the gas tanks, and make off with the cash.
