JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Renovation work at EverBank Field is underway.

Action News spotted crews doing prep work for the giant video scoreboards that will go into the end zones at EverBank Field.

The scoreboards will measure 55 by 301 feet, the largest in the world, according to the Jaguars.

Action News cameras took video of crews removing slabs of concrete outside the stadium to make room for the beams that will support the giant video scoreboards.

Some of the other enhancements in the $63 million makeover include a swimming pool in the north end zone.

Jaguars owner Shad Khan is putting in $20 million of his own money. Last November, City Council approved to pay its portion of the package: $43 million.

Quit crying. It's money from the bed tax that was set up to only pay for things such as this.

Since the taxpayers are footing a large percentage of this could you at least tell us whose "brother-in-law" got the contract?
