JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A local day care is under investigation after parents contacted the Department of Children & Families about their baby being burned.

The parents say their 11-month-old child suffered burns at "A Child's Choice" Day Care on Beach Boulevard.

The incident reportedly happened yesterday. The parents contacted DCF today.

A DCF spokesman says child protective & child care licensing teams will look into the baby's injuries. They have yet to see the baby, or see an incident report.

So far, no criminal charges have been filed.

Each week, Anchor Mark Spain features the Kid Care Report on local day cares, Tuesdays at 10:30 p.m. on FOX30.
