JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The parents of Jordan Davis are reacting to the first television interview of a juror in the trial of Michael Dunn, the man accused of killing their son.

Ron Davis and Lucia McBath spoke Wednesday morning on "Good Morning America," after they both watched an interview with Juror No. 4, a woman from Arlington named Valerie.

Lucia McBath said, based on that intervew, she believes the jury did all it could, even though it did not convict Dunn for first-degree murder.

"We believe with all our hearts they did everything they could to come up with what they believe was a just decision" McBath said. "They did the best they could with the tools they had at the time."

Ron Davis said the jury was confused. "These people are torn because of the jury instruction I believe, not because of the case" Davis said. "Being that they found him guilty on attempted murder in each count proves they know what he did."

Someone should ask the Davis about the 2 16 year old black men that killed a white man up north in knock out. How they only got 2 years in jail for murder. Is that justice for that man? He fought back when one them tried to knock him out cold with one punch. They in turn ganged up on him and murdered him then the prosecutor decided to let them spend 2 years in jail juvenile detention then release them. Where is justice for that man? Show me fight where black people are in group and do not gang up on single white person.

Davis was in the wrong. That does not justify murdering him though. Dunn empties his clip into a car then tried to hide and not report it. What if one those bullets had killed someone in another car? Yet black culture has this belief that white people must listen to their music that violates noise safety levels or you are racists. What if I decide to say pop in some huge speakers in car and then every time I hear rap blast back at x5 the level of the car beside me? I bet it would be labled a crime then. As far as black people not getting in a fight. I have yet to see a fight where black people allow a fair fight against white person. They ALWAYS GANG UP and attack as group. There is one exception in boxing ring that is it.

How much more money is the State of Florida going to have to "shell out" just for the purpose of placating to the parents who doesn't feel their son has received justice? I don't know how the State of Florida can afford to rack up the legal bills it does because of a State Attorney who overcharges to begin with, and when things with the State go awry, it's re-try this case until we get the verdict we want for none other than bragging rights of a conviction. Besides, like the Martins, it appears they can't wait to be interviewed by the networks and it's all for $$$$$$.

The only "confused" people were the parents, Angela Corey for way overcharging, and now their "loud music" defense of their on the media news circuit. These 2 parents need to realize, their son, was acting like a real thug and his *MF((*& tonight you die", with 3 other big teenagers in the car were enough to convince me it was going to me, or them. Their son's loud, threats of violence is the reason he was shot. It's really tiring to keep on and on about this by the parents. They are no longer married to each other, the mother lives in Atlanta, the father Jacksonville. Even his friends say Jordan Davis had issues with authority and really wanted to be in Atlanta -- It appears neither one of the parents were capable of understanding or accepting that his behavior was "thug" behavior -- pure and simple.

No, these two 'slackers' are CONFUSED. They just are never going to claim any responsibility for the loss of their 'child' at all. This Country is made up of too many 'people' like this. BLAME everyone(whites)and everything(guns) on the fact they don't teach their child well. If you CANNOT see through the REAL reason these losers are screaming for 'gun control' by now, then you all have your heads up your ass.

He was found guilty of attempted murder of the other people in the car, who were not party to the quarrel. The question of whether he had a claim of self defense against Jordan Davis remains open.

The Jury was right on top of things. They were far from confused. Angela Corey was the one who dosen't know what the hell she is doing. Dunn is guilty of 2nd degree murder, not pre-meditated 1st degree murder. If the States Attorney had done her job correctly, the trial would have concluded with all counts returning with a guilty verdict. Now the Davis family has learned that they should of trained thier son to be considerate at public places. If they had, he'd be in school today and this would not have happened.
