NEW ORLEANS (AP) - Officials say more than 100,000 customers still don't have electricity in the wake of Hurricane Isaac, as federal officials work to help storm victims.

People in nine hard-hit parishes in Louisiana can apply for grants to get temporary housing and repair their homes. The grants are applied for through the Federal Emergency Management Agency.

The power outages are spread across Louisiana, Mississippi and Arkansas, though the vast majority are in Louisiana.

Flooding remains a problem throughout south Louisiana, mostly in low-lying areas.
