JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission is investigating after a dolphin washed ashore Friday night.

The dead dolphin washed ashore in St. Augustine Beach Friday night near Dondanville Road.

There were were no obvious signs of trauma.

The FWC tells Action News that the cause of death has not yet been determined.

could be all the pollution washing out of the indian river down there in lucie !!! there have been a number of fish kills, not to mention humans this past year due to disease in the waters off our coast... funny how the authorities downplay the truth... just watch the florida channel & learn just how sick our oceans & waters are.....
