JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Fla. -- Here in Jacksonville Beach, homeowners are used to being resilient when it storms and "Debby" is no different.
"Trees behind over. Stuff flying around," Stacy Salmon said.
Debby rolled in Sunday night, and left flooded streets, debris, and plenty of worry to go around.
"I was here with Beryl and this storm produced more rain than Beryl ever did the whole time, and this was in one night," Salmon continued.
A tree got the best of one man's car on 12th Avenue N. He didn't want to go on camera, but he did tell us the hood received extensive damage.
Navigating streets are also a big problem. Some are completely impassable unless you drive slow, and are littered with debris. John Esposito says he plans to make due as best he can.
"I'm over 80 years old and all I'll have to do is clean up and make it look nice. Cheaper to look nice," he said.
