ATLANTA -- Cinncinati to Minneapolis for $25? Roundtrip from Tallahassee to Los Angeles for $27 each way?

Delta Airlines made the holidays merrier for some lucky customers who discovered such incredibly low domestic fares on the company’s website Wednesday, according to media reports.

A glitch caused Delta to offer the extremely low fares, according to, which tracks airline pricing.

On Thursday, Delta acknowledged the glitch and said it would honor the low fares.

“For a portion of the morning today, some prices on and other booking channels were incorrectly displayed, resulting in lower than usual fares for customers,” Trebor Banstetter said in a statement.

Banstetter told the Associated Press the problem has been fixed and “Delta will honor any fares purchased at the incorrect price.”
