Democrats make new argument for more early voting days

JACKSONVILLE Fla.-- An unprecedented 174,000 voted early this year in Duval County; a number large enough to pack the polls with lines lingering well beyond their entrances, especially on Saturday.

my wife & i voted last month & it didn't even cost the 2 .45 cent stamps you were supposed to plave on the envelope if you want your vote to count ... the weight of the double ballots,, put it over the limit for 1 stamp,, yet we simply placed the ballots in the county collection boxes at our local library,, thereby saving .90 cents... if people are so fired up about voting,, then get off your sorry askes & get er done, to quote larry the cable guy...

I agree with LT. Governor Carroll. We do not need to have more days for early voting or more hours. Most people are to lazy to get out and do it in the morning. The do the same things on holidays. They wait until the last minute and complain that there is not enough time. We are in a tight money situation and need to cut expenses. Do like I do and vote by absentee ballet. I voted last month and all it cost me was a 45 cent stamp. Look what I saved by not driving.
