FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. (WFTV) — The Flagler County Sheriff's Office is investigating reports that an elementary school student threatened another with a 12-inch knife on a school bus.

Other students told the bus driver, and a deputy found the knife in the girl's backpack when she arrived at Rymfire Elementary School on Tuesday, investigators said.

The girl claimed she was the victim of bullying, but the other student told investigators the same thing.

The girl was not arrested and was released to her parents. There's no word on whether charges will be filed.
