OCALA, Fla. -- Marion County investigators believe they stopped a marijuana-growing operation with the arrest of a 42-year-old man.

Deputies say Stephen Twitchell had 17 marijuana plants inside his 95th Street home growing under artificial lights. During a raid of the house, other drug paraphernalia, firearms, and ammo were confiscated, according to the report.

Twitchell told investigators the plants were "for personal use." His bond is set at $5,000.
