Deputies: Man throws chair with baby attached

GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- Deputies say a 22-year-old man slammed a chair into the ground with a baby inside because the 3-week-old was crying.

Austin P. Dionne was arrested Friday and charged with aggravated child abuse.

The police report says Dionne was concerned that the child was dead after he hit the chair and the child fell. The suspect went on to the shake the baby boy to stop him from losing consciousness, before contacting 911.

The boy was taken to UF Health Shands Gainesville were it was determined he was suffering from bleeding on the brain and other internal injuries.

Dionne has been charged with aggravated child abuse was booked into the Alachua County Jail with a $1 million bond.

Solution: Tie him to a chair, throw him out of a plane at 5,000 feet = gives him some time to think of the "hereafter."

Regardless of weather he is the father or not he his mentally unfit to care for any child. People need to take necessary steps to check peoples background before they leave a child in their care. Praying that this child will get through this.
